Message from Bernadette Wulf
Happy New Year! (In the Celtic calendar, at least).
Winter is here in the Northern Hemisphere and it looks like it may be a challenging winter for many. Between food shortages, political division, inflation, new virus variants and weather anomalies caused by climate change, we may be in for a bumpy ride. Please be prepared.
If nothing else, stock up on dry beans that can last for years. Beans, split peas and lentils can be made into multiple kinds of meals, from soups and stews to loaves and casseroles. Whole beans and lentils can even sprouted to provide fresh vegetables that are loaded with vitamin C and other important vitamins.
This too shall pass, and I wish you and yours the very best through the holiday season and beyond. We have so much to be thankful for in this season of Thanksgiving!
My News
Here’s a head’s up for all those who love anything Faery – I’ll be posting details about a new Celtic Faery workshop coming soon on Zoom. We’ll be working with the Lady of the Lake, Morgan le Fay, Merlin, Guinevere and more as we explore the faery realm and its inhabitants in live shamanic journeys. Keep an eye on your inbox for the details. Meanwhile, may visions of Avalon dance in your head!
I also wanted to let y’all know that I offer Medical Medium compatible health and diet coaching, in case you didn’t know. If you have friends or family members with mysterious health issues that have baffled their doctors, the Medical Medium protocols may be just what they need to get their health back on track. Drop me an email if you have any questions about coaching.

From crystalobregon.com:
Herbs and spices are often used medicinally by herbalists in concentrated forms to treat acute issues. But, their general health benefits can be taken advantage of by cooking with them on a regular basis.
They can positively influence the health of the gut microbiome and the gut flora and the gut flora helps them release their antioxidants and other beneficial components.
Add some dill to your salad dressing, oregano to your pasta sauce, garlic to just about anything savory, ginger to savory dishes for a hint of Asian flavor or to sweets for gingerbread flavor. Mix and match for new taste sensations. With a little experimentation you will be a pro at creating flavorful and healthy meals with these and other herbs and spices.

Eco-Safe Laundry Detergents
Did you know that “fragrance” is toxic? That is, unless it comes from natural essential oils (which would be listed as such on a label, because they are much more expensive than synthetic fragrances).
Same with other common detergent ingredients like sodium lauryl sulfate, dioxane, formaldehyde and more, all of which are commonly found in commercial laundry detergents. All those toxins go directly into our water supply and into our bodies through our skin and breath!
Common laundry detergents are a big source of water pollution as well as household toxins. Every time you smell that “fresh” chemical smell that is added to so many commercial detergents (just walk down the detergent aisle at any grocery store), you are getting a dose of toxins that go straight to your liver – an already seriously overworked organ in our modern toxic world. Why not give your liver and the environment a break and opt for a clean and healthy laundry product?
Even plain baking soda works pretty well as a laundry detergent! There are also several other environmentally friendly, non-toxic options, like soap nuts and products listed with an A rating by Environmental Working Group.
The article linked below is actually an ad for Truly Free Detergent, but it has a lot of excellent information in it (in case you need convincing). I’ve been using Truly Free Laundry Detergent for several months and I like it a lot.
However, now I’m leaning more toward trying Lazy Coconuts-Gentle laundry strips, because they have even less packaging (no plastic) as well as good reviews for both environmental impact and cleaning power. What do you think?

Winter Blues
One thing they left out of this article is taking B complex vitamins. When you are feeling a little down, they can really give you a mood and energy boost.
And make sure you are taking a good quality vitamin B12, like Vimergy brand or Global Healing Center B12 blend. Also, flower remedies can be really helpful. I love Freedom Flowers “Joy” blend for a little mood pick-me-up (that’s my affiliate link BTW).
Other ways to fight the winter blues: turn on full spectrum lights, get outside – especially at sunrise, get a little exercise and stick to a healthy whole plant foods diet which has been shown to improve symptoms of depression.

Healthy Diet & Socializing
As a health and diet coach, I’ve seen that one of the biggest hurdles people face when trying to stick to a healthy diet is their social situation. Whether they live with someone who constantly tries to undermine their healthy choices, or they only run into problems on weekends and holidays when they get together with friends or extended family, the social pressures can be really challenging.
From foodrevolution.org:
Have you ever eaten something you really didn’t want to, just because someone nagged you into it? Maybe they “begged” you to try a dessert they made “especially for you”? Or they convinced you to share a side dish they wanted to order from the menu? Perhaps a friend invited you to their home for the holidays, and you felt it would be rude to refuse something they spent hours preparing?
If so, you sure aren’t alone. I, and so many others, have encountered these and other scenarios that seem to impose a double bind that asks us to choose between caring for our health or nurturing our connections. It can seem like we can’t do both.
As a relationship coach, I’m here to tell you that you do not have to make that false choice. In far more of these situations than you might realize, effective ways to nurture your relationships while caring for your health do exist.
This article has some great tips for sticking to your chosen diet when people around you just don’t get it – or even outright ridicule it. Read on – https://foodrevolution.org/blog/having-a-healthy-diet-and-sticking-to-it/
New Earth Ambassador — Sharing Health, Wealth & Faery Magic to Uplift the World!
What I love best is creating opportunities for people to tap into the New Earth reality — a reality of harmony, cooperation and prosperity for all. I call it the New Camelot!
I still recall the thrill of discovering how to break through the confusion and angst of struggling in the old 3D Matrix. That’s when I realized I had found something far more valuable than money or worldly “success.”
So now I spend my time creating courses, blogs and tools to support citizens of the New Camelot in their ongoing quest for vital health, abundant wealth and the magic of the faery realm (which is woven into the fabric of the New Camelot like silver threads of wonder).
I am also passionate about protecting Nature, educating people about a healthy whole plant foods diet, artistic creativity, graphic design, connecting seekers with the faery realm, Celtic and Arthurian lore, writing, painting and gardening.
